Active Isolated Stretching: Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), gently stretches a muscle, holds the stretch for 2 seconds and then releases. The stretch is repeated 8 to 10 times in a set. Ashiatsu: An ancient form of barefoot massage that uses the therapist’s feet to apply deep, luxurious pain-free compression strokes to the body. Ashiatsu is unique in its ability to maintain even and constant pressure to the entire body. It brings about postural alignment, increased circulation, and relief of sore muscles. Aromatherapy Massage: Massage utilizing essential oil extracts of herbs, flowers, shrubs and other plants. Essential oils are customized to suit your specific needs. Swedish massage incorporating these oils awakens the senses and leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.Combo Massage: Utilizes all the tools in the therapists handbag including but not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy and Hot Stone.
Couples Massage: The “two-of-you” side by side receiving the massage of your choice. Perfect for couples, siblings, best friends–you create the combo, we deliver the relaxation.
Craniosacral Therapy: A gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system–comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch no greater than 5 grams (about the weight of a nickel), practitioners release restrictions in the cranial sacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. Deep Tissue: Extremely therapeutic, utilizes firm pressure massage techniques including compression, trigger point therapy and cross fiber friction. Helps maintain optimum muscle performance.
Four-Handed Massage: The combination of styles and techniques from two therapists leads to an extraordinary massage experience. The session is customized to your specific needs.
Hot Stone Massage: Polished river stones are heated and then oiled to glide across the body and provide muscle melting bliss.
Lymphatic: Gentle technique used to stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the body’s natural process of releasing toxins. Boosts the immune system, promotes healing, releases excess fluids from the body and deepens relaxation. Lymphatic is scheduled as a Master Massage.
Neuromuscular Massage: A deep massage that is applied specifically to individual muscles to reduce pain. Pain reduction is gained through increased circulation, the release of trigger points (intense knots of muscle tension that may refer pain to other points in the body) and the release of pressure on nerves caused by inflamed soft tissue. Reiki: Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the mind/body connection creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well being. Reiki is scheduled as a Master Massage.

Shiatsu massage therapy is founded on the Chinese Meridian system. Our therapists apply pressure with thumbs, fingers, and palms to specific areas of the body using techniques like tapping, squeezing, rubbing along the meridians to unblock energy restrictions and reintroduce optimal energy flow. This massage is typically performed with the client wearing loose fitting clothing either on a massage table or shiatsu mat. Shiatsu is scheduled as a Master Massage or Shiatsu.
Sports Massage: A combination of Swedish, Deep-Tissue and Neuromuscular work aimed at the specific needs of the athlete and the effects of athletic performance on the body. Sports massage prevents injuries, loss of mobility, boosts performance, speeds recovery and extends overall life of sporting career.
Swedish: The classic, basic massage, from which most other massage therapies have sprung. Using long, kneading strokes, this full body massage leaves you feeling relaxed and tranquil, improves circulation and mobility.
Thai Yoga Massage: This massage incorporates deep massage, stretching, and passive joint movement for a very complete full body therapeutic experience. Clients wear loose fitting clothing and the massage is completed on a comfortable thai/shiatsu mat. No oils/lotions are used.
